Sunset and Studio Mini Sessions
Let’s capture the warmth and wonder of the holiday season with a sunset or studio mini session! These mini sessions are short and sweet—a quick, impactful photography experience that’s perfect for capturing the magic of your family in a way that’s easy, fun, and memorable.
Mini sessions are ideal for those milestone moments: perhaps your little one just turned one, you’re celebrating motherhood, expecting a new addition, or simply ready to refresh your family portraits. Each session is fast-paced, high-energy, and designed to create beautiful images in just 20 minutes.
These sessions are offered primarily on Tuesday afternoons, with a few occasional weekend dates to accommodate busy schedules. They’re available on an ad-hoc basis, so you can book when the moment is right.
A couple of things to keep in mind: mini sessions are not suited for extended family groups, babies under three months, or very shy children. Since these sessions are fast-paced, we jump right in—keeping the energy high, engaging everyone, and moving quickly to capture those genuine smiles and moments of connection.

These sessions will take place on private property on Dural.
Full payment is required to secure your booking. A full gallery upgrade is available after your session when you receive your proofing gallery.
Definitely! A full gallery upgrade is available for $200.
You’ll receive a gallery of 30+ digital images; from here, you can select the 7 included images that are included, and then you will be given the option to upgrade.
There is a maximum 5 people per session. It can be used for family, mini-maternity, and couples. Suitable for babies 3 months and older.
(Immediate family only – This is not suitable for an extended family sessions)
Yes! You don’t have to have kids for this session. These sessions are perfect for mini maternity sessions or mini couple sessions.
Yes, if we are outside your dog is welcome. However in the studio dogs are not allowed. Please note that they must be on a leash at all times, and you must let me know if you would like your fur baby included. If it does rain we will have the session in the studio and your fur baby will need to stay home.
In the event of rain or bad weather, we will move the minis into the studio (same location). I want to make sure you have the best possible experience with beautiful, festive photos, so we’ll watch the forecast closely and keep you updated.
You will receive your edited viewing-only gallery within 2-3 weeks of your session date. You will then have 10 days to select your included 7 images. At this point you will receive the option to upgrade to the full gallery for $200.
I will provide a session guide to help you prepare for your Christmas mini-session, including outfit suggestions. Whether you go all out for Christmas or keep it simple, the key is to be comfortable. Please avoid logos and bold patterns.
This year, the setup will be in the Gully on private property, offering beautiful light all day long and protection from direct sunlight. The space will feature a small tree where kids can enjoy a bit of decorating, but the focus will be on engaging and playful activities. You can see examples of the set in the photos displayed on this page.
The Gully is located at the bottom of a hill, which means it is not wheelchair accessible. If you require or prefer an accessible space, please contact me before booking, and we can discuss alternative options that will better suit your needs.
